Morgan Taylor Change of Pace Fall 2023 Swatch and Review

Hello nail enthusiasts!  The Fall air is upon most of us!  It still gets pretty warm during the afternoons where I live, but the mornings and evenings are cooling down.  I have another Fall collection for you guys.  It is the Morgan Taylor Change of Pace for Fall 2023.  There are six colors inspired by nature and the autumnal season.  As per usual, these all applied so nicely and were so easy to work with.  Let’s get to the swatches and see what I think.

All Good In The Woods

All Good In The Woods is a gray-brown base with a multi color shimmer running throughout.  The shimmer looks more coppery in the bottle, but when you look at it up close, you can see the different colors reflecting.  The shimmer does kind of gets lost in the dark base unless you are really looking up close.  This is such a dark brown, that it almost looks black on the nails.  This is such a pretty color though and one of my favorites.  This was opaque in two coats and went on so smoothly.

Dew Me A Favor

Dew Me A Favor is an ivory white with just a hint of green and the same multi color shimmer as All Good In The Woods.  The pearl looks more gold in the bottle and it shifts slightly from pink to purple in extreme angles and lighting.  I feel like the shimmer shows better in this color, but it is still kind of gets lost.  It was a little streaky, but with careful application, this was opaque for me in two coats.

Golden Hour Glow

Golden Hour Glow is a warm gold pearl that has a slight green tint to it.  This reminds me of the leaves when they are changing colors.  This formula can show brush strokes.  I prefer cool toned golds, so this was not a favorite of mine, but it still applied nicely.  It is also more sheer, so it took three coats for full opacity in the swatch photo.

Lost My Terrain of Thought

Lost My Terrain of Thought is a pea soup green crème.  I know my description doesn’t sound that great, but split peas soup is what came to mind when swatching it!  This is a good muted green for fall.  This was so creamy to apply and was opaque in two coats.  I will say, this was one of my favorites as well.

Sappy But Sweet

Sappy But Sweet is a cool tone purple base with a warm toned fuchsia shimmer.  The different toned shimmer brings depth to this color and really brightens it up.  This shade also reminded me of leaves changing color in the fall.  It was easy to apply and I got full coverage in two coats.

Stay Off The Trail

Stay Off The Trail is a cool toned gray-purple beige crème.  This was my absolute favorite out of this collection.  I don’t know what it is about colors like these, but I really gravitate towards them.  It was so nice to apply and I got full coverage in two coats.

My Thoughts

I really like Morgan Taylor.  Their brush really helps apply polish nicely.  My favorite color was Stay Off The Trail, followed by All Good In The Woods and Lost My Terrain of Thought.  The only color that didn’t do it for me was Golden Hour Glow, but that’s just because I prefer cool-toned golds to warm ones.  All six polishes were easy to apply.  There were no finicky formulas.  Which ones do you need to get your hands on?  You can purchase them from my store Morgan Taylor Change of Pace.
