Matte Light Pink and White Flower Nails

Matte pink and white flower nails

Want these matte flower nails?!

As usual, I always start with applying a base coat.  I then applied 2 coats of Morgan Taylors I’m Charmed and OPI Alpine Snow to the respective fingers.  I waited until the polish was almost dry.  Usually by the time I’m done painting all of my nails the polish is dry enough to start stamping.

Using MoYou Pro Plate 10 and 14, I chose the images I wanted.  I applied Konad black stamping polish to the image and scraped using about a 45 degree angle.  I used my stamper to pick up the image and rolled the image on to my nails.  I work those steps quickly as the polish dries fast and won’t stick if I take too long.  Any image left on the stamper I removed with a lint roller.  I cleaned up the image from my skin using cotton swabs and polish remover.

Anytime I’m doing matte nails with a design, I always apply a top coat first so the image doesn’t smudge/smear.  I used Seche Vite fast drying top coat for this.  I then applied OPI matte top coat to all of my nails and finished with cuticle oil.  Any oil that gets on the nails can be removed with rubbing alcohol to maintain the matte appearance.
