Flower Power Nail Design

How I achieved this look

First I started by applying my base coat.  On the thumb, middle and pinky fingers I applied 2 coats of China Glaze Petal to the Metal.  On the index and ring finger I applied 2 coats of China Glaze White on White.  Let the polish dry before stamping.  Typically by the time I get all of my nails polished, they are dry enough to stamp.

I chose the images from the MoYou Pro Plate 10 and Pro Plate 14.  Working quickly, I covered about half of the image with the Konad black stamping polish and used an old credit card to scrape the image at about a 45 degree angle.  Then pick up the image with your stamper and roll it on to your nail.  Any image that remains on the stamper can be removed with a lint roller or sticky tape.  I clean up any of the design that gets on my skin with a clean up brush or cotton swabs and polish remover.  I applied Seche Vite top coat to the 2 nails with the images to prevent smudging/smearing before applying OPI matte top coat to all of my nails.  Even if the images are dry, the matte top coats seem to smudge/smear the designs and applying a regular top coat first prevents that.  I do use cuticle oil after I’m done.  If any oil gets on the nails, I just clean it off with rubbing alcohol to keep the nails matte.
