A Little Pop of Color

Hello nail art lovers!  The weather is warming up where I live, but it’s not quite spring.  Spring and summer are my favorite times to do my nails because I enjoy the brighter colors.  I wanted a look that had just a tad bit of color.  I like how this little pop of color nail design looks without being too bright for this time of year. This was my first time using these stamping polish colors from Twinkled T, so keep an eye out for my review of them.  Continue reading to see what I used and how I achieved this look.

Getting Started

First I put Young Nails Protein Bond on all of my nails.  Next, I applied 2 coats of OPI Alpine Snow gel polish to all fingers curing after each coat.  Then I applied Gelish Top Coat to all but the middle and ring fingers.  I cleaned the tacky layer off of the middle and ring fingers.  Before stamping, I applied a latex barrier around these 2 nails.  Since my nails are long right now I chose the long marble design from the Maniology plate Chic Peek to ensure the design covered the full length of my nail.  Using the Twinkle T stamping polishes, I applied 5 colors to the plate.  I did 2 quick scrapes to kind of mix and blend the colors.  Using a clear stamper,  I picked up the image and applied it to my nails.  I cleaned the plate in between each stamp to make sure I got a crisp image transfer.  Once I was done stamping, I removed the latex barrier and did some final clean up.  Next I applied Gelish top coat to the remaining nails.  Finally I applied cuticle oil to all of my nails.  I hope you like this pop of color nail design.
